No Flush Niacin
Inositol hexanicotinate, also known as inositol niacinate, is a flush-free form of niacin. Studies have reported significant lipid-lowering effects of non-flushing niacin. Researchers found non-flushing niacin to be more effective than niacin in its cholesterol lowering, blood pressure lowering and lipotropic effects. This form of niacin is slowly metabolized in the body and releases niacin over a period of time without the characteristic flush that may occur when large doses of niacin are administrated.

Inositol hexanicotinate has been used to lower cholesterol and also to improve blood flow in the treatment of intermittent claudication (a painful cramp in calve muscles produced by a decreased oxygen supply to the muscles). Some studies show that compared to niacin, inositol hexanicotinate is safer and better tolerated.

A randomized, controlled comparison of the cholesterol lowering statin drug lovastatin (Mevacor) found that niacin lowers LDL (bad cholesterol) to a similar degree (23% (niacin) vs 32% (statin), while elevating HDL considerably more (33% vs 6%). Niacin also lowers lipoprotein (a) (Lp[a]) by an astounding 35% while lovastatin therapy has no effect.

Susgested Use:  Take 1 capsule per day as directed by your health care practitioner. 3000mg per day with food is used to lower cholesterol.

Non-flushing Niacin Lowers fibrinogen
Niacin lowers fibrinogen. Fibrinogen, a protein produced in the liver, is a necessary part of the normal blood clotting process. But when fibrinogen levels get too high—as can happen in conditions of inflammation—fibrinogen can increase your odds of forming dangerous blood clots, which can plug off a blood vessel leading into your heart, triggering a heart attack. Fibrinogen also causes smooth muscle cells to multiply, which can promote atherosclerosis. People whose fibrinogen levels are high have roughly double the risk of heart disease of people of those that are low.
